Reportedly, Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless steel producer in China is targeting to produce 4 million tons in 2014.
It's learned that Taigang Stainless planned to produce 3.4 million tons this year, half of them will be ferritic grades and the remaining will be austenitic grades because its works in Taiyuan doesn't produce 200-series stainless.
Meanwhile, the company's stainless steel output totaled 1.56 million tons in the first half of this year.
